Hello There!!

It’s summer time and the living is easy……. Yeah right, not for us at the GBBC. We are hard at work with the 15 th! Yes I said 15 th Annual Rock the Boat Cruise.

This year should top all years as far as offerings are concerned. It is always a great time, but this year we promised to deliver the “WOW” with all of our events

Who can forget the Speaker Series at the Hyatt, Great food and lots of it, open bar all night and Starbucks coffee – Patrick outdid himself.

The St Patrick’s Day Party- Can I count the “WOWS” there? I think my favorite was the State Trooper playing the bagpipes as we were arriving. The live band. I would be remiss if I forget to mention the awesome spread that was provided by the Hotel Marlowe. Hey, how did you like the vast selection of desserts that kept coming?

The Out Nights at the North Shore Music Theatre, can they get any more fun? It is so wonderful to see so many of our friends and members at the events all the way up in Beverly- it is only a half hour out of Boston and well worth the trip. If you would like to be my guest at a show, drop me an e-mail. The shows are great, but did you know that as a GBBC Member you can purchase a ticket for the show, dinner and the cast party for only $65.00 on Out on the North Shore nights ( see our calendar for dates )? My hat is off to our co-sponsors for Out at the North Shore who make the night so great. I promise you will be talking about it for months to come.

Here is a WOW for you, we host an average six networking events a month!! See the calendar for details. They are the North Shore Breakfast, Back Bay Lunch, Metro West Lunch, Connections, Women’s Networking as well as Speaker Series and Out Nights and several times through out the year Business Highlights and Mixers.

Back to the Boat Cruise, this year we are having Jose Posa as Joan Rivers, a live band, DJ Mocha, meal with desserts, raffles (and you should see what is on raffle), limbo contest and 255 of our guests will receive a fully stocked beach bag as a parting gift.

P.S. You would not go to a doctor who did not get his degree; how about a lawyer, who may or may not know the law - you can take there word for it right? Then why would you ever spend money in a publication that is not a member of any professional trade group, or who’s circulation is not audited? I don’t know either. I can tell you that both of OUR community’s publications In News and Bay Windows are gay owned and operated, both are members professional & trade organizations and both have AUDITED circulations.
