Dear Friends,

Over the past few years the GBBC has run a tight ship and we have wanted for nothing. We are a stronger and more nimble organization. We are able to respond to our members and community’s needs. We have been able to provide significant value to our members without raising membership fees… not even once. We are able to deliver great events at very low costs while offering a WOW at every event.

We have also given away money. Yes, the GBBC has made substantial grants and formed some great partnerships with other non-profit organizations. We are doing our best to support our community and the Commonwealth as a whole.

We, along with the Board of Directors, have made a commitment of at least $2,500 to the Jeanne Gieger Crisis Center. The center addresses the issues of domestic violence and serves the families it shatters.

Domestic Violence is never a one time incident or occurrence. It reoccurs, and with each appearance the physical harm and damage is only half the battle. The physical wounds may heal, but the emotional, mental and spiritual wounds are often the most lethal and most difficult to overcome.

We need your help. We have an opportunity to do something that we believe will be life affirming and have a direct effect on those most harmed by this awful and heart wrenching battle. We can bring a sense of hope and provide a respite if only for a few hours to these families. Please help us provide a Holiday for these families

We have been asked to participate in sending the client families to the North Shore Music Theatre’s “A Christmas Carol”. It is here that these mothers and their children can experience a memory. We will be providing, as part of our sponsorship, gift certificates to Target so that the children can have a Holiday outfit for this special night and experience the magic of the Holidays.
